No. Hidden items are only removed from the menu of the roles and users you choose. Deactivate the plugin and every menu is back exactly as it was.
Hiding removes the link. Someone who knows the URL can still open the page if their role allows it. To really close a page, Pro has 🚫 Block, which denies access completely.
Yes. The plugin reads the menus that are actually on your site, so items added by any plugin or theme show up and can be managed like WordPress’s own.
