1. WHO WE ARE

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using this website, contacting us, ordering our services or downloading, buying or using our WordPress plugins, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or our products. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page on the date of your use or purchase applies.

3. USE OF THE WEBSITE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website (texts, images, graphics, logos, designs, 3D renders, photographs and code) belongs to the Company or its partners and is protected by Greek, EU and international intellectual property law. Copying, republishing, modifying or commercially using it without our written permission is not allowed. Our WordPress plugins are an exception: their code is licensed under the GPL, as described in section 5. The “Angry Parrot” name and logo may not be used without our permission.

You agree not to use the website for any illegal purpose, not to send unlawful or harmful content through its forms, and not to attempt to disrupt its operation or security.

4. DESIGN, WEB AND 3D SERVICES

The information about our services on this website is general and does not constitute a binding offer. Each project starts with a written offer or agreement that sets out the scope, fees, payment terms, schedule and any usage rights. That offer or agreement prevails over these terms.

The client is responsible for the content, texts and materials they provide (and for having the right to use them), and for checking and approving the work before it is published or printed. We are not responsible for spelling or other errors that appear in work the client has approved for printing or publication. Printed colours may differ slightly from how they look on screen, because every screen displays colours differently.

5. WORDPRESS PLUGINS

5.1 Free versions. Free versions of our plugins are provided free of charge, under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, “as is”, with documentation but without personal support.

5.2 Buying a Pro version. Pro versions are sold through Freemius, Inc., which acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Freemius is the seller of record for your purchase: it processes the payment, charges any applicable VAT or sales tax, issues the invoice, and manages your subscription and license. The purchase is also subject to the Freemius terms shown at checkout.

5.3 License. The plugin code is licensed under the GPL version 2 or later. Your Pro license key activates the plugin on the number of websites included in your plan and gives you access to updates and support while it is active. A license key is personal to the buyer and may not be shared or resold.

5.4 Subscriptions and renewals. Pro plans are billed yearly and renew automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your Freemius account or from the links in your purchase e-mails; cancellation stops future renewals. If you do not renew, the plugin keeps working on your website, but you no longer receive updates or support.

5.5 Renewal price guarantee. New features added to a Pro plugin never increase your renewal price. As long as your subscription stays active on the same plan, you renew at the price you signed up with. If you change plan, or buy again after cancelling, the price in force at that time applies.

5.6 Right of withdrawal. Consumers in the EU normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content supplied immediately, this right is lost once the download or access starts, provided you have expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal, as requested at checkout. This does not affect your legal rights if the plugin does not work as described.

5.7 Support. Pro customers with an active license receive support by e-mail, through the “Contact Us” page inside the plugin. We aim to reply within a reasonable time on business days. Support covers the use of the plugin and fixing bugs; it does not include custom development or problems caused by third-party themes, plugins or hosting.

5.8 Warranty and liability for plugins. We develop our plugins with care and test them on current versions of WordPress, but we cannot guarantee that they are compatible with every theme, plugin or server setup, or free of errors. Always keep a backup of your website before installing or updating any plugin. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profit or website downtime, and our total liability for a plugin is limited to the amount you paid for it in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR THE WEBSITE

We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is provided without warranty. We are not responsible for temporary interruptions, technical problems, or damage caused by viruses or other harmful components that are beyond our reasonable control. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content.

7. PERSONAL DATA, COOKIES AND NEWSLETTER

How we process personal data, how we use cookies, and how the newsletter works (double opt-in, unsubscribe at any time) are described in our Privacy Policy.

8. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

These terms are governed by Greek law. Before taking any legal action, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue amicably. Consumers may also turn to the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) for out-of-court dispute resolution. The courts of Ioannina have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights consumers have to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
